The Hillcrest Tree Farm is known for its pine trees that bring Christmas joy to living rooms across the state. The trees bloom creating the views of carpets of color. The store offers fewer groceries these days than it once did, but you can still find goodies including locally-ground coffee, sandwiches, gifts and clothes, a working bar, a piano free for playing and even tai chi classes all in a funky, retro, one-of-a-kind environment.
